About the Photographer

I have a degree in photography from Dakota County Technical College and my passion was sparked when I received my first camera at five years old. Based in the South Metro area, I have deep respect for wildlife and nature photography which informs all aspects of my work, from patient outdoor shoots to freelance events, which includes capturing unscripted moments for events like the Twin Cities Marathon. I share my lifelong passion by teaching community education classes and leading personalized lessons on everything from camera basics and macro photography to editing in Photoshop and Lightroom. Whether guiding aspiring photographers to find their artistic voice or crafting comfortable, authentic senior portrait sessions in natural settings, my warm, approachable style inspires others to both celebrate and protect the beauty of the world around them.
